Anderson assisted Atlantic Richfield's in-house management in the preparation of a site reclamation plan, health and safety programs, and project design drawings for closure of the former Bluewater Uranium Mill in New Mexico. The mill had been the second largest uranium processing facility in North America. The site was accepted for closure in 1997 as the first Title II site by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
